Meet the Staff of WISC and AMH

The team at the Women's International Study Center and Acequia Madre House are passionate about enabling, recognizing and promoting the accomplishments of women worldwide. We are inspired by the Three Wise Women of Acequia Madre House and strive for a level of program quality and careful preservation of their archives, collections and legacy that would have made them proud.

Laurel Savino, director of the Women's International Study Center, brings more than twenty years in non-profit administration and development of non-profit organizations. Her background includes eight years at the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco and another eight years with The Trust For Public Land working out of their Santa Fe office but with responsibilities throughout the Southwest.
