March 7, 2016 5-7PM WISC Fellows Presentation with SFCF "Connection, Care and Tending Women of Color Leaders"

Event is FREE.

Event will be at SFCF: 501 Halona Street Santa Fe, NM 87505

"Two weeks of residency support at the Women's International Studies Center is a true gift, and also had an unanticipated effect. My time was devoted to considering and writing about the professional development and leadership cultivation needs of emerging creative leaders, however I immediately realized how much I was in deep need of time and support to cultivate and restore my own leadership path." - Mi'Jan Celie Tho-Biaz

The speakers will discuss their respective experiences in leadership roles, as well as the unique needs and available resources they have experienced as emerging and seasoned women of color leaders in Santa Fe. We will begin the discussion by speaking to the question: How are we best able to be in service to our communities, while simultaneously carving out enough time for our own creativity and family lives?
